Mr. and Mrs. Red here for some formal introductions to our first attempt at a blog about one of the things we love the most: eating out. Naturally, if you've been brought to our little corner of culinary expertise you'll know who we - the Reds - really are, but for those of you who are just as new as we are I'll fill you in. We are the Rathjens, living currently in Urbandale, and here to share our experiences of cuisine from all around Des Moines and its suburbs. The two of us have been back and forth on starting up this blog, considering the frequency of our dining experiences.
So! There you have it. We may not be experienced cooks or culinary experts, but we are absolutely supreme consumers in the world of the dollar, and we're here to share our experiences: the good, the bad, and the delicious.
